Finlay Consulting ("I", "me") respects your privacy. This policy explains what I collect, why, and how I handle it.
What I collect
- Details you send through the contact or booking form: your name, email, business name, and message.
- During an engagement, the business information you give me access to, which is used only to do the work we agree on.
- Basic, anonymous website analytics, such as which pages are visited, to improve the site.
Why I collect it
To respond to your enquiry, to schedule and deliver services, and to understand and improve how the site is used. I collect only what is needed for those purposes.
Consent and email (CASL)
I will only send you commercial email if you have agreed to it, every message identifies who it is from, and every message includes a way to unsubscribe. You can withdraw consent at any time.
How it is stored and protected
Your information is kept secure, access is limited, and it is used only for your engagement. I do not sell your information. Where I rely on trusted service providers, such as a scheduling tool or email provider, they only receive what they need to provide that service.
How long I keep it
I keep information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law, and I will return or delete your information on request where I am able to.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or withdraw your consent. To make a request, email jonathan@finlayconsulting.ca.
